Directional Insights was founded in 2009 by Dave Marsh, a passionate entrepreneurial spirit with over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development and sales leadership roles. Dave specializes in marketing consulting that delivers engaging insights and collaborative strategies, serving clients ranging from start-ups to well-established Fortune 500 Companies, across a wide cross-section of industries from high-tech to fast food to financial services.

Dave oversees all projects and project teams are tailored to fit the specific goals and needs of each client project. He is committed to helping companies grow strategically and achieve their marketing, business development and sales goals and objectives.

Prior to establishing Directional Insights, Dave spent six years as Director of Client Services with a former research firm that supplied primary marketing research nationwide to a variety of clients.  During this time, Dave was responsible for managing and conducting hundreds of primary marketing research projects, in which he served as a primary focus group moderator and research analyst. During this time he grew revenues by over 170% and reduced operational costs while optimizing operational efficiencies.
